Pre-Requisite: An achievement of 'B' or better in year 9 French, or by negotiation with the global learnings coordinator and French teacher. An ability to independently pursue learning and dedication to the acquisition of the language is expected at this stage.

SUBJECT OVERVIEW

This course aims to increase reading, writing, listening and speaking fluency using comprehensible, input-rich experiences and texts. Students understanding of the structures of the language expands allowing a greater range, degree and fluency of self-expression. Students use French to communicate and interact, access and exchange information, express feelings and opinions, participate in imaginative and creative experiences, and to design, interpret and analyse a wider range of texts and experiences.

ASSESSMENT
